Frogfest originated as a project within the Les Cheneaux Community Schools to help educate students about the importance and fragility of our surrounding environment and the vital role frogs play. In 2000, it became a successful collaboration between LC Community Schools and the community.
Frogfest is a fun event that provides a learning opportunity for everyone of all ages. Activities included field trips, exhibits, entertainment, and kids games. Here are some photographs taken at Frogfest 2010.
Frog Art Project Blank frog cut-outs were available at the Les Cheneaux Chamber of Commerce office in Cedarville (Welcome Center). Businesses, individuals and groups were encouraged to pick-up a frog cut-out to paint and decorate for the art competition held during the Frog Fest weekend.
